What do glasses say about your swag?

You know the stunners make you look hard! Plus it hides your eyes for the pics when you've had a bit much to drink.

what you think.

Using Second Life for learning? Is this the future...

Second life is a Internet world where you can create your person and simulate their life. Its sort of similar to the Sims.

We had a lecture where we was visited by Ralph who has a second life account, he created his own town and had a lecture hall in the sky, wow!
I don't really like the fact you can create basically a whole new life, i doesn't really appeal to me. however it would be a good idea for students to save time and money on travel.
It could be the new thing.

How can second life be used for teaching and learning?

one more thing! Videos and Skype for teaching?

Feel free to add ur comments!

I think that this would make learning much more of a free environment. Students will be able to view a lecture from their own homes or catch up with a lecture that they have missed. Making it a convenience helping both the lecture and the student.

The only problem i can see with this is students just not turning up at all because they can watch the notes later. This could then disrupt learning completely.

How can vidoes and skype be used for teaching and learning?

Lets take a min out of the fashion.. lets talk about education!

I was looking at my facebook the otherday and i saw a group for a uni. it had a large number of members. it made me realise that learning could be done through facebook. Think about it. How many people do you know that is currently addicted to going on facebook everyday? So setting up a way for things to be taught through facebook wouldnt be too hard.

Pros
- Students will be able to access information quickly and at any time
- It may make students learn more as they can interact with other students and people at the same time.
- More people can be involved

Cons
- Only problem i can see with learning on the internet is that some students may not have constant access to the internet.
- also the internet is very fragile, it can crash at any time

How do you think Facebook, twitter, mobile phones and other social networks can be used in teaching and learning?

Quiz - What is the make of the belt worn in the picture?

a) Luis Vutton
b) Gucci
c) Ed Hardy
d) Primark - evie

Whats wrong with these MAD people!?

Welcome Ladys and Gents to the world of fashion, where their are risk takers who will wear anything to make them feel a specific way.

Take Lady Gaga for instance. i think she step way to far over the line when i see her in the Music Awards with some furry THING covering her face. She took it a step to far with this though. He was my favourite character man, she gone and all spoiled that!
